The Tulare County Economic Development Office serves as a functional arm of the Tulare County Resource Management Agency Planning Branch. The Tulare County Economic Development Response Team stands ready to assist decision-makers who seek to locate, establish or expand businesses in our area with site selection, "fast-track" permitting, and custom-tailored workforce development solutions.

Additionally, Tulare County is within an Enterprise Zone (EZ) which offers a number of incentives such as:

  • State Tax Credits for Hiring Qualified Employees
  • State Tax Credits for Sales or Use Taxes Paid for Certain Property
  • Fifteen-year Net Operating Loss (NOL) Carryover
  • Five-year, No Interest, Development Fee Deferral
